She wants her baby to start finding food on her own. She doesn’t need to breastfeed so much, it’s time for her to be more independent. And the baby is throwing a fit every time mom won’t let her breastfeed. No real damage is done, if mom doesn’t do this then all the babies will end up like sweet pea.
Look how the cub is carried backwards on the mom’s stomach. That cub found a way to get to the milk bar. Mom removed the cub away. The cub will test mom to see if it can have access.
Soon the milk is not enough for the cub anyway, it needs to later forge.
Shes not torturing this was a long time coming shes tired of Daniela biting her and nursing every.five seconds. Dana is hungry and tired from Dolly and DeeDee
She is constantly chasing after them for Daniela shes constantly being hit and bitten by them because of Daniela and they dont let her eat or rest . On top of it Daniela bites her and is on and off her nipple continuously and when DeeDee or Dolly pull at her she bites Dana’s nipple real hard to hold on. I feel sorry for Dana she just wants a break. A place where she can eat snd sleep and be with her baby without being tormented.

Danielle was stubborn and relentless!! She did NOT listen to her mother and sadly Danielle died by Santra…he knew she was a misfit. Danielle always ate out of turn and this made the other mother monkeys mad and abusive towards her and her mother Dan’s. Dana could no longer protect her because Dee Dee was a higher heinarchy monkey.
I’ve watched daniellas story from birth to death and all I can say is that that poor baby had it rough from the start. Everyone abused her. My guess is that something was wrong with her at birth. And nature is just cruel and unkind to the sickly. She’s resting now, in heaven. And she has friends. RIP Baby Daniella.
Dana does not spoil her babies.. They eat when necessary but none of them were allowed to just suckle for comfort.. She doesn’t like breast feeding at all.. we saw that with baby Donnie.. Baby Daniella had a rough life before she was killed and I believe Dolly interrupted the bonding process between Dana and this baby….I believe it’s the reason she got killed.. Dana allowed her to roam without any supervision.. In this video, baby Daniella was being so stubborn and persistent.. I can see why Dana was dealing with her a bit harshly.. She wouldn’t take no for an answer.. But She hardly got time to feed.. before she was snatched from Dana.. This happened so much.. Poor baby just didn’t have a chance..

It makes my skin crawl to watch these bratty little leeches cling & CLING even when Mom is very clearly trying to get her OFF of her. It seems that she’s wanting her to walk instead of riding all the time. This kid is CLEARLY to the age when she could be doing just that was well as learning to forage. They are just such creepy little things but ungodly STRONG. Anna was doing everything monkeyly possible to get rid of her & I don’t blame her.
I am really shocked by the violence and behavior of these monkeys and cannot help but wonder why they are showcased in this medium, (i.e. videos). I am not naive and am aware that other species of primates are governed by group and societal norms.
I love watching babies and their parents interact and love and train their offspring to survive in this world, that it can be wonderful and amazing, it can be harsh and cruel as well. Sorry if I sound too critical, but I had to comment about this.
